What we cater
Three kinds of corporate event
IndAroma provides services for several corporations and organizations in the DC Metro area. We can arrange luncheons, receptions and other large scale corporate events — staffed, set up and served by our own crew, at your venue or ours.
The flagship
Galas, award dinners & fundraisers
An empty ballroom, atrium or tent is a normal place for us to start — not a problem you have to solve before you call.
- We bring kitchen crew, waitstaff, rentals, equipment, linens, flatware
- Bar available — bar setup and professional bar staff; you buy the alcohol yourself and skip the beverage-package markup
- Licensed & insured — venue documentation sent direct to your venue, not left for you to chase
- Worth knowing — hotels usually supply waitstaff only; kitchen staff still comes from us
- Minimum — galas are the one corporate job that carries one, quoted with the event
- Murgh tikka masala
- Lamb rogan josh
- Shaam savera
- Dal makhani
- Goat biryani
- Tandoori naan
- Gulab jamun
- Kulfi with falooda

Multi-room, and often multi-day
Corporate receptions & conferences
A conference is a sequence of meals in different rooms at different headcounts — one kitchen and one contact across all of them, not a separate order per session.
- Buffet — most variety for the money, moves a big room fastest
- Plated — the most elegant, the slowest
- Family-style — sits between the two
- Live stations — chaat, Indo-Chinese, Indo-Mexican, kulfi, jalebi; add to any style
- Send us the run-sheet — we’ll tell you what each room can actually carry
- Mini samosas
- Paneer pakora
- Chicken tikka kabob
- Aloo tikki
- Papdi chaat
- Live chaat station
- Indo-Chinese station — gobhi manchurian, chili paneer, hakka noodles
- Indo-Mexican station
- Masala chai
- Jalebi

Weekday, staffed
Board, client & executive lunches
The crew that runs a gala on Saturday sets up your board lunch on Tuesday. Same kitchen, same people, smaller job.
- No minimum — the part most people don’t expect from a caterer known for big rooms
- Everything labelled — nobody should have to ask a colleague what’s in it
- Dietary — vegetarian, vegan, halal, Jain and gluten-free on request
- Boxed lunches? That’s our sister brand — The LunchBox Café
- Murgh tikka masala
- Paneer makhani
- Chana masala
- Yellow dal tadka
- Jeera rice
- Tandoori naan
- Chicken tikka kabob
- Assorted vegetable pakora
- Gulab jamun

We also cater
- Holiday & Diwali parties
- Conferences & all-hands
- Association & nonprofit receptions
- Employee appreciation dinners
- Grand openings
- Client entertaining
These are named because companies ask for them by name. Tell us the date, the headcount and the venue, and each one gets its own menu and its own quote. Planning a wedding rather than a work event? That is a page of its own.
Just need the food dropped off? Then you do not need any of the above — order from the party tray menu instead, which is the simpler door when nobody needs to be served.
What happens next
Enquiring costs you one email
- 1
Tell us the date, the headcount, the venue and what kind of event it is.
- 2
A menu and a service style built for that room — plated, family-style or buffet.
- 3
Staffing, rentals and equipment quoted with the food, itemised on the same quote.

The date and a rough headcount are enough to start. The venue, the service style and dietary needs help, but they can come later. Prefer email? Write to ContactUs@IndAroma.com, or call 703.354.1812.
There is no minimum for corporate catering. Galas and other large evening events do carry a minimum, and it is quoted with the event. Staffing, rentals and service are quoted with the food and itemised on one quote.
Why IndAroma
Full service means we arrive with the kitchen, the crew and the linens
Everything below is something IndAroma already publishes and already stands behind. There is nothing on this list we would not put in writing on a quote.
What that actually means
- No minimum for corporate catering. Galas and other large evening events do carry a minimum, quoted with the event — but a board lunch does not have to clear a floor before we will take it.
- Full service. Rentals, equipment, linens and flatware as well as the food, kitchen staff and waitstaff. You do not have to source anything separately and reconcile three invoices afterwards.
- Licensed caterer. We can provide your venue with any documentation it requires for catering events — sent directly, before you have to chase it.
- Hotels and conference venues. They generally provide waitstaff only. Kitchen staff is still required based on your package, and it comes from us.
- Up to 1,500 guests at a single function. One caterer can therefore take a whole corporate calendar — the smallest function and the largest one come out of the same kitchen, in the same week, without either one being the compromise.
- Buffet, family-style or plated. Three ways to serve the same menu, and live stations — chaat, Indo-Chinese, Indo-Mexican, kulfi and jalebi — can be added to any of them.
- Traditional and modern fusion. IndAroma offers a combination of traditional to modern fusion cuisine, so the menu can be as familiar or as adventurous as the room is.
- Halal, vegetarian and vegan are everyday work here, not a special request. Gluten-free is widely available; Jain and allergen-specific menus are prepared on request. Every catering item is labelled.
- The same team as the wedding operation. There is no separate, smaller corporate crew. The people who run a hotel ballroom on Saturday are the people who set up your board lunch on Tuesday.

Party trays
Nobody to serve, nothing to set up — just food, dropped off. Order from the party tray menu.

Dietary
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal & Jain
Vegetarian and vegan options are core to the menu, not add-ons. Gluten-free and halal are widely available; Jain and allergen-specific menus are prepared on request. Every catering item is labeled — which counts for more at work than it does anywhere else, because at work nobody wants to be the person asking.
