What we collect
When you request a quote, place an order, or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email, and your event or order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Square) — we do not store your card numbers.
Analytics and session recording
Like most websites, we use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used. Specifically:
- Google Analytics 4 — which pages are visited, how people arrive, and which buttons and order links are used.
- Meta pixel — so we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising actually brings people here.
- Microsoft Clarity — this one goes further than the other two, so we want to be plain about it: Clarity records a replay of your visit. That means your mouse movement, scrolling, taps and clicks, and the pages you moved through, played back as a session recording. It also produces heatmaps of where people click. We use this only to find parts of the site that are confusing or broken — for example a menu nobody can scroll, or a button people tap that does nothing.
Clarity is configured on its strictest masking setting, which means all on-page text is masked before anything leaves your browser. A replay shows layout, mouse movement and where things were clicked — not the words on the page, and not anything you type into a form. These recordings are not used to identify you, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising. If you would rather not be recorded at all, any standard content blocker will stop all three of the tools above from loading. You can also email us at contactus@indaroma.com and we will delete any recording associated with your visit.
How we use it
To prepare quotes, fulfill orders, plan and staff your events, respond to you, and send you service communications about your order or event. We send marketing only where you have separately agreed to it.
Your mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information, mobile opt-in information, or text-messaging consent will be shared with, sold to, or provided to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or your messaging consent data to third parties, affiliates, lead generators, or data brokers.
If you give us your mobile number, we use it to contact you about an order, quote, or event you asked us about — including by phone call when that is faster — and, for IndAroma employees, to send login codes and work schedule and operational messages. Who processes it
We share your information with service providers strictly to the extent they need it to serve you: Twilio Inc. (SMS and voice), our payment processors, our hosting provider (Vercel), and our analytics providers (Google, Meta, Microsoft). They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and your choices
We keep your information as long as needed to serve your orders and events and to meet our legal and tax obligations. To access, correct, or delete your information — or to withdraw messaging consent — email contactus@indaroma.com or call (703) 354-1812.
