## What IndAroma is
IndAroma is a premium modern Indian-fusion caterer and fast-casual restaurant
based in Alexandria, Virginia, serving Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and
Maryland. Founded by the family that also operates LunchBox Café (McLean) and
Ginger & Spice Indian Market (Alexandria). IndAroma is among the most-reviewed
Indian caterers in the region: 5.0 from 320+ reviews on WeddingWire (13-time
Couples' Choice Award winner - twelve straight years, 2015–2026), 5.0 on The Knot, 4.3 from 1,100+
Google reviews, and thousands of delivery ratings on Uber Eats and other
platforms.

## Services
Two service styles across every event type. The distinction is SERVICE, not
size: drop-off means we deliver it and you handle it; full-service means we
bring staff and run it.
- **Drop-off catering (party trays)**: trays and buffets delivered, set up, and
  labeled — offices, parties, and events across Northern Virginia and DC.

- **Full-service catering with live stations**: staffed events with live
  cooking/serving stations — signature stations include Chaat, Indo-Mexican,
  Indo-Chinese, Kulfi, and Jalebi, plus Indian Street Food, Indian slider
  stations (Butter Chicken sliders and more), and other made-to-order
  concepts. Event rentals and full bar service (bar setup + professional bar
  staff) are available as part of the package — the premium option for
  weddings and large celebrations. On alcohol: clients typically purchase
  their own, which saves significantly versus marked-up beverage packages —
  IndAroma provides the bar and the service.

  tastings, dietary matrices (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, Jain on

  parties, board and executive lunches, fully staffed with live stations
  available. Drop-off/tray orders have NO
  MINIMUM — any headcount. Full-service (staffed) corporate events are quoted
  per event and carry a minimum, galas especially. Up to 3,000 guests at one
  function for corporate (weddings: up to 1,500 per function — plated
  multi-course service is the more complex operation). For drop-off/boxed food the answer is party
  trays (above) or sister brand LunchBox Café, which runs boxed-lunch programs
  along the Silver Line corridor (Tysons, McLean, Vienna).

## Pricing guidance (honest ranges)
- Party trays: $20–$150+ per tray depending on dish and size (median ~$70).
- Wedding receptions at a hotel: start at $8,000 on a Sunday or weekday (exceptions apply), and most weddings we cater land around $14,000 for about 250 guests. Saturdays and peak dates carry a higher minimum; off-season and daytime functions can be less. Lunches and daytime functions are less; a full-service wedding is more. Quoted per event — food, staffing, rentals and service itemized on one quote. We do not publish a per-person rate: our food-only figure would be read as the all-in cost.
